A bit of television

What do you usually watch in TV?

TV is BOSS. | Michelle Leigh Writes  (C)

What is your favourite programme?

Well, when I watch TV, I like watch programs that are funny, programs that make forget my problems on a bad day. I almost never watch the news, because there is always bad news; wars, crisis...

I prefer have a good time watching cartoons or other program before have a bad time listening bad news about the world. I like the carrtoons for example: The Simpson or series how La que se avecina. I think this type of series or cartoons are funny, amused and it's a way of disconnect from the world. But in my opinion, the gossip programs era too busybody, they should must let live to the famous people. In Spain, a very famous gossip program is Sálvame.

In UK a famous soap opera is Coronation Street or BBC

Movements

  • Vaulting over obstacles.
  • Jumping and landing accurately with the feet on small or narrow obstacles.
  • Jumping and landing feet-first on a vertical surface, catching the horizontal top with the hands.
  • Using a rolling motion to help absorb impacts from larger drops.
  • Running towards a high wall and then jumping and pushing off the wall with a foot to reach the top of the wall.
  • Moving from a position hanging from a wall-top or ledge, to standing on the top or over to the other side.
  • Using a forward flip to increase distance jumped.

I really like Parkour, because you can do it anywhere and parkour for me isn't only a sport, It's a habby, it's a passion, because when you are jumping, you can feel the air around your body and you feel that you are flying and this is a feeling that gives you a lot of adrenaline and many more sensations but I can't explain it because it is indescribable.

LONGBOARD

A longboard is a type of sports equipment somewhat similar to a skateboard, but much longer. Often faster because of wheel size, it's commonly used for cruising, downhill racing, slalom racing, sliding, and transport.

There are four types of longboards:
Pintails
The pintail shape is used to prevent the wheel from coming in contact with the board while still providing ample footspace. Pintails are most commonly used with top mounted trucks. They are also good cruising boards.

Drop-Through
Drop-Through boards, not to be confused with a double drop deck, have a cutout in the deck, allowing the baseplates of the trucks to be mounted through the deck. The lowered platform allows for greater stability at high speeds.

Hybrid
These kind of longboards include wheel cutouts which provide room for the wheels to turn at sharper angles while avoiding wheelbite. Hybrids also tend to be shorter than other longboards, which allows the rider to be more stable.

Cruiser
A most common deck shape, these have a somewhat similar shape to normal skateboards, in that they have a "kick-tail" on the back.
Modalities:

  Caarving - Freeride
It involves skidding down a slope either by choice or to correctly enter the curve at the beginning freeride
wheels 78 are used hardness forward as being tougher wheels do not stick to the asphalt.
  Downhill
This is down as quickly as possible by steep roads.

  Cruising
It is simply getting from one place to another , for fun or as a means of transport.

  Freestyle
It consists of skateboarding tricks and other own longboard .

BASKETBALL

Everybody knows what is basketball but for me, It's more than a simple sport because I have a big relationship with this sport.

Basketball was born in Springfield (Massachussetts) by James Naismith, he was a physical education teacher who wanted to invent a sport that could be practiced in winter because when it was snowing or raining, the students couldn't practice a sport outdoors.

It is a sport where you meet people and you can make great friends except that you exercise while having fun.

The basketball is very famous in most countries especially in USA, there, Basketball is one of the most popular and representative sports.
We asked several people and all of them agree that this It is a very complete and fun sport and very easy to learn.
I love this sport because I have accompanied me throughout my life, With this sport I've met people, I had fun, I excited and sometimes I also have disappointed but generally have a lot of very goods experiences.

Genital mutilation

25th November, "the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women"; a little bit long title, don't you think? We're not going to talk about this because it is a problem that we are aware of at least or we should have to know. We're going to focus on "Genital mutilation" because not everybody knows about that.

In some less developed countries in Africa, the Midlle East and some others, this practice carry on practicing. It is thouth that origin is in Egypt although it can be a religion tradition such as Islam.

Percentage aged 15–49 with FGM in the 29 countries in which it is concentrated (UNICEF 2014). (c)wikipedia.com
Genital mutilation can be male or female. We're not going to get into details but men can get castration or circuncision and women can get a female genital mutilation. Most of theme are traditions to go through infancy.

We think that 25th November has to change that name and putting in place "the International Day against the violence" because there is violence everywhere inflicted either men, women, animals,..., and this is unbearable.

Jennifer Lawrence was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on August 15, 1990.
She was the typical American girl who enjoyed practising sports, she was a cheerleader, an smart girl who wanted to be a doctor when she grow up, and she also loved acting, she used to act in short plays at church.

When she was 14 in a vacation in New York with her family she was discovered by an actress agent, he told her that the next day there were some auditions for new actresses. In the auditions she did it really good so they hired her. She had to graduate from High School two years early(with a great mark) because she needed time for acting. She started with shorts roles in TV series like The Bill Engvall Show, people saw that she was an excellent actress so she became more famous and played in important films like X-Men: First Class and The Hunger Games. She has grown as an actress with out doing any professional acting classes during her life.

For us she is an important actress who is developing in the world of acting ,talking about her personality we think that she is an extrovert person with a great personality she is very natural and of course if you don't trust us here are some awards that she has won(She is the second youngest actress nominated to an Oscar, and she had won one)
Most of her awards and nominations(thousands of them) are for being the best actress in different kind of films, and TV shows.
