The movement for civil rights in the
United States was a long and non-violent struggle to extend full
access to civil rights and equality before the law to groups such as
blacks. They have been numerous movements in favour of other groups
in the United States to end discrimination against African Americans
and ending racial segregation, especially in the southern United
States.
This period begins with the Montgomery
bus boycott and ends with the assassination of Martin Luther King,
although the movement for civil rights in the United States are still
in many ways up to our days.
Seems admirable attitude and the
position that these people took. Which did not surrender to get what
they wanted: the equality between humans no matter what color, race
or religion. A round of applause for all those brave people who not
imported you put your life in danger for others.
