Religion is not this

The latest news about strikes has been this attemptde attack. The 17th May the Italian police arrested two Afghan men on suspicion of planning to carry out terrorist attacks in Britain and Italy.

One of the men is Hakim Nasiri, 23, and Gulistan Ahmadzi, 29. They were arrested in the southern city of Bari.

In our opinion, it is thoughtless that people try kill other people because they believe in a different religion. You have to respect the beliefs of other people. It isn´t necessary the action of the police, we only need respect.
Why do these persons do this kind of things? We don´t know. We only know that it´s shocking. Can they kill a lot of persons who have families, children, wives...? Is that little war doesn´t stop... We will end up in a permanent fight. A bit of head, brain and heart. We are all
different but really, we are equal persons, everyone has the right to believe one or another thing and don´t be killed. We are persons who think that the religions are all equal, but the gods have different names. If you think... All religions have a god, a holy book and a prophet.
Actually we are not so different.

Terrorist Attack in Germany (10/05/16)

There were a knife attack in a german train station. The knifeman killed a passenger and injured several others. He shouted ''Allahu Akbar'', which means ''God is great''.He finally was caught and he remains in custody. All Europe is frightened of future attacks.

The Federal Police announced that they were not enough equipped to face terrorism and it would be a ''suicide mission'' for officers to try straighten out these kind of attacks.

We, under the ethics and moral codes, think this is a horrible deed and these kind of acts are not acceptable in the century we live, so do others centuries. Terrorism is produced by a terroritory issue and in our opinion, it will never have an end. It has an unstoppable force that will just continue growing. We should make them aware they do not have to fight against everybody, that they should ask for their rights peaceably as it have been alwayas made.

We should take into account too that these kinds of fights have been won by struggling, suffering, battleing and only try by try, so is a paradox.

As a conclusion, we should mention that if these kind of attacks continues, we should not be afraid of it: after a terrorist attack people do not go out of their houses, accepting that they show they are afraid of these attacks. We must stay together. We must stay brave. We must fight against injustice.

Alan Turing

Alan Turing (23th June 1912 - 7th June 1954) was a computer scientist, mathematician, logician, cryptalanyst and theoretical biologist. During WWII, he worked decrypting the nazi codes from the machine called "Enigma" with help of the "Turing Machine" the father of the nowadays computers, which was invented by him.
His brilliant career was suddenly stopped because he denounced that a thief had stolen in his house and while he  was stating, he had to admit that he was a homosexual. In those times, in Britain, it was illegal to be a homosexual, so he was arrested by the police.
They let him choose between two options:
-To be sent to prison
-Chemical castration, that is to be given pills to make your body create less testosterone.
He choosed the second one and after two years, he killed himself.

Here you have a link of a video that will explain Alan Turing's life a bit better:

PARIS TERRORIST ATTACKS

A Jihadist attack in Charlie Hebdo

Twelve people lost their lifes after the gunfire of two Jihadist in the satrical weekly.

The newspaper was in the Jihadist focus after the publication of some drawings of Mohamed.

The terrorist attacks is joined the youth club attack, the kidnappingin a supermarket and the last one; a man who thought attack during the Europe Championsleague in diferent religions places in France.
The attacks were carried out altought vigilance in France was high. All the time in our point of view the attacks which were justified like something made on behalf of Alah, were senseless.

These assaults against those innocent people raised the panic in the country The borders in France were colsed for some weeks.

Despite the vigilance , is demostrated  that it isn't enough to prevent the raids. We think that the strength should improve the vigilance thereby:

-Controlling the buying  and selling of arms throught  Intiernet and the contacts with possibles yihadist .
-Guarding suspects and finally , increasing the security controls in the borders,airports...

Probably ,we know, that we aren't going to solve anything with this but this is something and with what we have to deal everyday it has to be ended who deserves to live with the fear of being attacked?

Donald Trump’s lies

The Republican Candidate gets used to repeating fake affirmations

Donald Trump, businessman and Republican candidate for president in the US, with the best options to achieve the nomination of his party, often says certain lies about the American Situation in debates, interviews and speeches. Lies are so serious that in 2015, he received the award for the Lie of the Year by the Web Politifact web page.
The politician argues that "You can say something that it is 100% correct and people turn it into a lie."

In spite of his arguments, Donald Trump says that unemployment level was between an 18% and 25% and, that we didn’t have to never believe 5.6%. Incredible but it’s true! Months later, he claimed that 93 million people are unemployed. In addition, as United States World Power, Trump dared to say that U.S. was a Third World country and that they had the highest Taxes in the world." Can you believe it?

Concurrently, they were appealing to voters promising them the recovery of the State public infrastructures, because they thought that airports, bridges and highways were falling down to pieces.

THE OLYMPICS
(Mexico-1968)
Black Power

It was a sign in protest of Civil Rights in the U.S. It happened after the 22-meter race in these Olympics by the Afroamerican athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos, who were gold and bronze, once on the podium, raised their fists wearing a black glove while the national anthem was sounding. These actions were inspired by the psychologist Harry Edwars, who prompted athletes to boycott the Olympic Games.

The black glove represented the black power.

We believe it was an act of bravery and courage by these athletes who even knowing that this would have serious consequences for their careers and lives, chose to continue the protest forward and so influenced, the society of the time and fought for the rights of black people.
Finally they and their families were threatened with death. The fact of defending something as basic as equality has these consequences is unthinkable today.

These were John Carlos words:

IF I WIN, I´M AMERICAN, NOT AFROAMERICAN, BUT IF I DO SOMETHING WRONG I´M BLACK.
WE ARE BLACK AND WE ARE PROUD OF IT.
BLACKAMERICA WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT WE DID TONIGHT.

In this film shows not much to kkk , in it we can see how the population lived terrified because anyone of them could be burnt in the crosses with just get out of the parameters that dictated the klan .

(c) filmaffinity.com
Set in the 30s, this film tells us about the value of friendship, but also teaches us how hard was the life for the womens of the time. In the movie we can see male chauvinism and racism of the population and even cannibalism still existed in those years.

The Andrew Show is a serie of videos issued since 2009 by the KKK in which two blond children about 9 and 10 years were talking about "their" views on issues related to race and religion to children of their age. The truth is that the videos can clearly notice how Andrew Pendergraft actually read some sort of sign or telepronter behind the camera.

Forrest Gump “ and Civil Rights in the USA

There are a lot of films which tell us about Civil Rights' History in United States but there's one film that highlights because of creativity to express the facts. The most highlighted themes, which we can analyze, are:

Love
© Paramount Pictures
-Forrest , in love with Jenny, defends her against different men with whom she went out, thinking
they were mistreating her, and he was right.

-Jenny had run away several times from Forrest, confused by her feelings. One day, Forrest dares to ask her to marry, but she believes it would be very risky because they could end their friendship of many years.

-That day, Jenny gets pregnant. The baby was Forest's. She couldn't stand being without Forrest and therefore, we believe that she carried away a bit of him with her.Years later, Forrest was telling the story of his life to an interested elderly woman on a bench. He was waiting for the bus because he received a letter from Jenny where she said that he visited her. Forrest was told that they had had a child and she had a serious illness that couldn't be cured. Days later, Jenny died and Forrest devoted his life to his child's education . In addition, he never abandoned Jenny, he would visit her in the cemetery to narrate his exploits.

Loyalty and bravery

© Paramount Pictures
In the Vietnam War , Forrest's Lt. was injured on the battlefield. Its principles say that he would rather die than live disabled. Despite its continuing insults to Forrest, he did not leave him alone and carried him with the rest of their companions who had been rescued. Although his legs were amputated, and he hated Forrest because of what happened, Forrest helped him how to live with it.

And finally, you will be able to appreciate our choice of funny and sad scenes:

-Forrest on the March on Washington.

THE LITTLE ROCK CRISIS

à Students who entered in a white school.

The nine students were Elizabeth Eckford, Minnijean Brown, Gloria Ray, Terrance Roberts, Ernest Green, Thelma Mothershed, Jefferson Thomas, Melba Patillo and Carlotta Walls. These students became known as the Little Rock Nine. We are going to talk about Elizabeth, Minnijean Brown, Gloria Ray, Ernest Green and Carlotta Walls.

http://www.historyforkids.net/little-rock-nine.html
- Elizabeth Eckford was born in October 4. She was a US citizen icon of anti-racist struggle in the United States. She was one of the African American students in the Little Rock Nine.

- Minnijean Brown was born in September in 11, 1941. She was one of the African American students in the Litlle Rock Nine.

-

- Gloria Ray was born in September 26, 1942. She was one of the Little Rock. She was 15 when she attempted to enter Little Rock Central High School. In 1965, she graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1965 with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Mathematics.

- Ernest Green was born in September 22, 1941. He was one of the Little Rock Nine. Green was the first African-American to graduate from the school in 1958.

-  Carlotta Walls was born in December 18, 1942.  She was the youngest of the Little Rock Nine. She was the first black female to graduate from Central High School.

Thanks to the Little Rock Nine, it became possible the idea of remove the segregation. The racial segregation had been disappearing since the 50s. In 1964, had taken a giant step with the approval of the Civil Rights Act.

In 1968, the Supreme Court of the United States declared unconstitutional all forms of racial segregation, and in 1999,  the Little Rock Nine were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal by President Bill Clinton.

The role of the church in the civil rihgt movements

The role of the church in the civil rihgts movements

The movement for civil rights in the United States was a long and non-violent struggle to extend full access to civil rights and equality before the law to groups such as blacks. They have been numerous movements in favour of other groups in the United States to end discrimination against African Americans and ending racial segregation, especially in the southern United States.

This period begins with the Montgomery bus boycott and ends with the assassination of Martin Luther King, although the movement for civil rights in the United States are still in many ways up to our days.

Seems admirable attitude and the position that these people took. Which did not surrender to get what they wanted: the equality between humans no matter what color, race or religion. A round of applause for all those brave people who not imported you   put your life in danger for others.

MONTGOMERY BUS BOYCOTT, ROSE PARKS. -

We all know what Rosa Parks did and we all admire it, but, what made her do it?

Civil Rights differences and racial discrimination were the main reasons, as we gues you all know. There were huge difference among all the social classes.

 copyright: cbsnews2.cbsistatic

In our opinion, not everybody would have done it because she faced her future. She knew that she would be taken to jail, so not everybody would accept lose part of his life to fight against majority's thoughts, she knews in advance that racists would hate her and think that what she just has done was such an unforgivable thing and people should not follow others with the same thinkings. She was taken to jail and everybody supported her wich made whis even a more polemic thing all over the world, sice black people is not just in America or Africa.

 copyriht: americaslibrary.gov.

African Americans, quickly, felt the enough power to battle against these injustices and they did. They did battled and won. They could reach (not at this moment, but they could reach some of the next equialities) the possibility to vote, to go to the same bathroom, to be at the same places as white people... It can be a nonsense, but it IS NOT. It meant almost a revolution and all the people who made this possible became idols and admired people. Rose Parks, obviously, is one os them. Her constant fight made her a woman who will be in everybody's mouth.

THE TLATELOLCO MOVEMENT

The Tlatelolco movement ocurred in the place of "Las tres culturas" in Tlatelolco, Mexico. On 2 of October in 1968.

There was a student strike demanding legal recognition for all his work. This caused a big number of people missing , wounded and dead,

In our opinion the student movement that wanted the recognition of the work done by students along their university years because it was the only way to get a chance of finding a job due to the lack of economic resources .
We can´t believe how bad it happened  this young people . They simply  fought for what they deserved  , for not mention the many confrontations  that had these people with their family.
We don´t know the exact number of wounded and dead people yet.
Unfortunelly , today happens more or less the same. How many people have studied for become  a doctor or a teacher and now they haven´t got money for feed their families?
However we can see corrupt politicians earnings thousands of euros a month. This give us a lot to think.

The March on Washington

One day of August 1963, concretely 28, thousands of American people fought fiercely to get their long yearned Civil Rights.

This huge uprising was integrated by a lot of groups, mostly by black people. Imagine that you are a black person and are going to the march. Of course, you would be around 16 maybe 17 years old. You leave your home in Arizona (a very racist state at that time), with unknown people shouting, singing, dancing and making noise, on a bus or train. We're sure that you will have arrived at Washington DC a little sick, because thinking about conditions which black people had to live, buses wouldn't be very hygienic and comfortable. So you get there and then what do you do?

(c) www.flickr.com
Obviously, we would have participated because we adore people who have the courage to face police, politics and the Army's power without any type of fear. If we had taken in part it, we had fought to get our freedom and rights too. Getting there, the first thing which we would have done it would be join other groups to make as much noise as possible. We've never heard any songs by Bob Dylan although we were listening “Only a Pawn in Their Game”, which is about Mississippi’s judicial racist system and it was sung on the march, and we believe that, from a musical point of view, it’s very bloody but if this worked to get Civil Right we’re not anyone to judge it. As everybody knows, Martin Luther King gave the most known speech, which is “I have a dream”. We don’t understand why it worked because if you remove the form that he pronounced, so emotional and self-confident, would it keep on being as special as we imagine?

(c) kingencyclopedia.stanford.edu/

We believe the speech '' I Have a Dream '' was a very important in the march, but, it is too long and it repeat a lot of things. When we saw it for the first time, we notice that it's very emotional and it transmits us many feelings which make us to feel in their shoes. Personally, we would have removed some parts so that it wouldn't be boring too.

Violence in videogames

Nowadays, we can hear people who say that teenegers become dangerous and violent because of videogames. But many studies show that is a fake!

Cristopher J. Ferguson, a Florida University's professor, became studying whether games make teenagers violent in 2008 and he still do it today, he has not found anything that could blame videogames of that.
Besides, we must recognize that there are some games that are not too much educational, some examples would be "Grand Thef Auto" and "Far Cry". But no one of this games have been censored for having contents extremely dangerous and violent.

People report game's firms all days! That's is ridicolous because videogames could not be the only problem, for example, in USA police kill Afro-American people every day if they think they can do anything illegal.

TV has also a problem with violence. As you can see, every day on TV, you can watch films and other types of programmes that may be also a bad influence for young people,
Let's play safe games
